The New York Post is now apologizing for the cartoon that was posted Wednesday February18th 2009. http://www.nypost.com/delonas/delonas.htm . Is this the first “political propaganda” with a racist slant that has appeared in the media since President Obama took office? The newspaper had stood by the cartoon, which its editor called "a clear parody" about the death of Travis, the chimp that Connecticut police killed Monday after it mauled a friend of its owner.
Does this cartoon depict political propaganda or an out right racists view of the president?

Question - Social Equality
Now that there is an African American president; will social equality of African Americans and other minorities become a reality?
Monday, February 2, 2009
Intro
Citizens of the United States witnessed history on the 20th of January, 2009, as the first African American president was sworn in. With this historical event taking place has being African American become the new social trend? The significance of President Obama’s election is undeniable given the plight of African Americans in this country. The fact that he is African American overshadowed his political platform leaving most voters in a racial haze, only hearing that change is coming. As a society, that is all we the people needed to come out in record setting numbers and vote on the hope of change. Many social questions arise from the fact that our newly elected president is African American.
